KUSH MANDA -कुश मंडा

“Kushmanda” is formed from three words:

‘Ku’ (a little), ‘Ushma’ (warmth or energy), and ‘Anda’ (cosmic egg).

She is the one who created the universe with a divine smile, from the cosmic egg.

She rides a majestic lion, radiating luminous energy and fearless divinity.

Maa Kushmanda is depicted with eight arms (Ashtabhuja Devi), holding a chakra (discus), gada (mace), kamandalu, bow, arrow, lotus, and a jar of nectar (amrit). One hand is in abhaya mudra (blessing posture).

Her face is radiant like the sun, and her aura glows with creative power.

Orange or yellow — symbolizing vitality, joy, brightness, and creativity.

• She is the creator of the universe, said to have initiated the formation of the cosmos with just her divine smile.

• Represents the Anahata Chakra (heart chakra), embodying unconditional love, compassion, and balance.

• Blesses devotees with health, wealth, energy, and mental clarity.

• She nurtures creation and sustains the divine rhythm of life.
