🌌 Maa Kaalratri – The Fierce Night of Time and Transformation
“Kaal” means time or death, and “Ratri” means night.
Maa Kaalratri is the dark and powerful form of the Divine Mother who destroys ignorance, darkness, and fear.

Mount:
She rides a donkey (gardabh), symbolizing humility and detachment from ego.
Iconography:
Maa Kaalratri has a dark black or deep blue complexion, with unkempt hair, and a third eye blazing with light.
She has four arms — holding a scimitar (curved sword) and a thunderbolt (vajra), while her other two hands are in protection (abhaya) and blessing (varada) mudras.
Her breath is said to ignite flames, and she is adorned with a garland of lightning.

Navy blue, charcoal black, or deep indigo — symbolizing mystery, transformation, fearlessness, and protection.
